She used to think she needed everyone’s approval… her sense of self worth was wrapped up in everyone else’s opinion of her…

So, she worked hard to prove herself… to prove that she was capable… that she was worthy of belonging…

But then I noticed that the harder she tried the more they hated her… and when she failed the more they laughed at her…

So, I whispered an encouraging word to her…and the more I spoke the higher she climbed.. and the higher she climbed the more confident she became… and the more confident she became the bigger she dreamed…

And then one day I realized… all she ever needed… was me…
