You know the funny thing about success? Nobody thinks about your beginning… when things looked so bad, when there didn’t seem to be any hope, when you’re just desperately trying to scale that mountain but you keep sliding back…
I heard someone say recently that the beginning of momentum looks bad, mostly because you don’t realize when it starts..It feels lonely.. you look a little crazy. I think in those times its probably the most tempting to quit… because the thing about momentum is that most of what you’re trying to accomplish is still in front of you… and faith gets hard to hold onto…
But when you find someone who sees past the mess and sees your strengths… when you find someone who leans in and encourages your passion… when you find someone who pushes you into your gifts and reminds you that they are there when you’re full of self doubt and fear… you have to give yourself enough grace to trust that you’re worth it..”
Glenn did it right marrying a successful younger woman.” 15 years later and this is what they say now…Everyone is going to have their own version of YOUR story… but you have the pen. You have the paper. You have the ability to write your own ending…Turn your page. Start your new chapter… and if you feel like you don’t have anyone telling you that you can… know that I’m right here and I’m saying it loud enough for the people in the back…. YOU. ARE. SO. CAPABLE … and totally WORTH. IT
